Hello and welcome to my SGLS page! My name is Sebastiaan Groen, and I am a professional lighting designer/ lighting operator with a specialty in Avolites Titan. I have been working in this field since 2018.
My passion for lighting design started when I was at the age of 12 . Playing around with some LED Pars and fell in love with this.
Since then, I have been fortunate enough to work with a variety of clients in a range of settings, from music concerts and festivals to theater productions and corporate events. No matter the project, my goal is always the same: to create stunning and dynamic lighting designs that enhance the overall experience for the audience.
One of my areas of expertise is Avolites Titan. Since first coming in contact with the software in 2015 (At the time V9.1) I have spent countless hours improving my skills with this platform, learning all of its features and capabilities inside and out. Whether it’s creating complex cue sequence, Writing custom macros, Using the API and much more. In 2020 I have bought an Avolites Tiger Touch II and it is been my console of choice ever since.
One of my other areas of expertise is in Capture Sweden, a powerful visualization software that allows lighting designers to create 3D models of their designs and visualize them in real-time. I have extensive experience working with this platform.
In addition to my technical skills, I am also a creative thinker who is always looking for new and innovative ways to approach lighting design.
